At the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre and Nursery School, our mission is to provide all families living on the Bruce Peninsula with affordable and quality childcare and early learning opportunities for their children. We provide a safe and welcoming environment that encourages children to explore, play and learn at their own stage of development. As a result, children feel confident and are able to develop a positive self-image and a sense of belonging to the Centre. Our teachers use an emergent curriculum approach to teach to the interests of the children. Our programs focus on the individual needs of the child in a warm and positive atmosphere, as well as the needs of the group as a whole. We foster a sense of belonging to the Centre, as well as the larger community in which the children live. Ultimately, we support the children’s growth, learning and well-being which allows parents to feel confident that their children are learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
