Bruce Peninsula Holiday Merchant Tour 2025 – Explore, Shop Local & Win Prizes

Why participate?

Help our local economy thrive this holiday season! With holiday gifting on everyone’s mind, LookLocally.ca and our local merchants are excited to host the 5th annual Holiday Merchant Tour. This event is about exploring our community, discovering unique products and services and making it easier to look locally while gifting. Spend a few minutes visiting the shops you pass every day; meet the people behind them and support businesses that make the Bruce Peninsula special.

Dates and overview

When: Thursday, Nov 13 – Saturday, Nov 15, 2025 (three?day tour).
Where: Participating merchants throughout the Lion’s Head Area (see map).
Cost: Free! No purchase is necessary to enter door?prize draws

During these three days, stop at as many participating merchants as you can. Each merchant will have holiday promotions or special offers and will host a draw for a door prize. By visiting and filling out a ballot, you have a chance to win at every location. The more stops you make, the more chances you have to win.

How the tour works

  1. View the map of participating merchants: Our interactive map will be published in early November; check back here or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.

  2. Plan your route: Choose your own adventure! Make a list of the shops you’d like to explore and plan a fun day or two with friends or family.

  3. Visit merchants Nov 13–15: Drop into each participating business during their regular hours. Learn about their products, enjoy holiday promotions and fill out a door?prize ballot (no purchase required). Each merchant will draw and contact their winner the following week

  4. Ladies Night & Pop?Up Shop: On Friday (4 – 7?pm) and Saturday, 15th (10?am – 4?pm),  shop at our curated pop?up market. Ten local artisans and makers will offer handmade gifts, treats, and décor; door prizes will be drawn on site.

  • Discover new favourites: Many participants from previous years said the tour helped them find businesses they’d never noticed before. Experience hidden gems, try samples, and gather gift ideas.

  • Support local: Dollars spent locally circulate within our community, supporting jobs and services. Even if you don’t buy on the spot, your visit and word?of?mouth help businesses thrive.

  • Fun with friends: Make it a tradition! Create your own “tour team,” enjoy some holiday cheer, and collect ballots along the way.

Vendor & merchant information

Interested in participating?
Merchants: We welcome retailers, restaurants, services, and experiences from the Bruce Peninsula to join. Registration is $57, including tax, and a door?prize donation is recommended. Complete the merchant registration form by Nov 8, 2025, to be included on the map and promotional materials. Each merchant is responsible for drawing and contacting their door prize winner.


Pop?Up Shop vendors: 10 table spaces are available at the Rotary Hall for Friday evening (4 – 7?pm) and Saturday (10?am – 4?pm). A daily fee of $28.25, including tax, helps cover venue costs; tables and chairs are provided. A liability waiver is required, insurance is recommended, and a door?prize contribution is appreciated. You may choose one or both days. Register early; once capacity is reached, a wait?list will be maintained.
